Mr. Murtaza is the founder and current CEO of Kawsar Auto Spares Limited. After completing his further studies in England, he returned to Kenya in 1990 and ventured into the motor vehicle spare parts business. Starting as a one-man family shop with the principles of conducting business with honesty and integrity the company continues to grow under his vision and guidance and is currently employing over 50 employees. His unrelenting nature has nurtured an innate desire to make his vision a reality to make Kawsar Auto Spares Ltd. the leading retailers of spare parts. Years of experience has ensured the business continues to grow no matter the changes of the external business environment bringing his vision closer to reality day by day.
Aliabbas is the eldest son of Mr. Murtaza and is responsible for leading the firm towards its mission to provide exceptional customer experience by supplying an outstanding range of high quality automotive spare parts, superior levels of sales and aftersales support. He holds an honors degree in economics from the Queen Mary University of London. Prior to joining Kawsar, he worked with a major private equity company where he garnered extensive knowledge and experience in financial matters. In this role, he continues to play an instrumental part in overseeing the company’s operations, growth and expansion strategy. He is open minded, innovative and ever intrigued to find solutions. Aliabbas has successfully established an efficient, healthy and productive workforce and system that has seen the company thrive since he joined.
Chief Sales Officer
Ebrahim is a seasoned and highly regarded professional in the automotive spare parts industry with thirty (30) years experience. He has an excellent command in sales, marketing, product knowledge, industry trends and is result oriented. These skills enable him to motivate his team as well as build networks with both clients and the community. He is honest, a team player and mentor to many in the organization. In this role, he handles clients and associates with the utmost respect and integrity as he leads the sales team to exceed their revenue targets.
Mehboob is an astute sales manager with twenty (20) years experience in the automotive spare parts industry. His extensive abilities in sales enables him to build strong strategic partnerships and a solid customer base. In this role, he ensures customers are served quality products in a timely manner. Mehboob is well versed and equipped with computer skills that are necessary for capturing and retrieving critical details for future use. Also, to enhance accountability and transparency of transactions, he has encouraged prompt feedback from the sales team as well as quickly resolves any arising complaints to ensure service delivery is smooth. Furthermore, his leadership qualities continue to positively impact the company’s revenue targets, customer relationships and thus greatly increase the company reputation.
Muzamil is a brilliant procurement professional with ten (10) years experience in the automotive spare parts industry. His deep understanding of product and pricing requirements is a valuable asset to the company. In his role, he ensures that Kawsar gets the best products from the manufacturers at favorable prices. With his exemplary communication skills, he has built and maintained a great network of automotive spare parts suppliers both locally and internationally. His knowledge and experience ensures that the company has all the latest products needed by our customers.
Fakhridin Hussein Omar
Senior Company Accountant
Fakhridin is a successful accounting professional with over fifteen (15) years experience in the finance and accounting profession. He is well grounded in accounts, internal audit, budgeting and managing the company’s cash flow. He has previously had training from Deloitte as well as practical knowledge from his previous experience in other organsiations prior to joining Kawsar. He has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University; he is also an affiate member of ACCA with an advanced diploma in ABE in Business Adminstration. With his exemplary skills, he has continuously contributed to the robust internal reporting systems within Kawsar that has improved client service.
Ayaaz has nine (9) years experience in information technology. He holds a First-class honors Degree in Electronic communication engineering and a Master’s degree in business administration and strategic management. Ayaaz studied Bachelor’s degree at the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, UK. Master’s Degree at the University of Nairobi. His knowledge and experience has been valuable to Kawsar. In his role as information technology manager he has been instrumental in overseeing seamless and flawless technological innovations. Through his efforts the company has a centralised system to track and manage all the operations of the company from one location.
